If you want the fish fry during Lent, call ahead (or message them on Facebook like I did!) and not only make a reservation, but specifically mention you want the fish fry. The lady who I talked to was super accommodating and not only set aside fish for me, but even saved me a baked potato! Several other disappointed patrons either left or had to order something else because they were out of fish; this was around 7 pm. I overheard a server saying they planned to order way more fish for the following Friday, though. The fish was done just how I like it (crispy and not overly battered), and their homemade tartar sauce was yummy. I also enjoyed a Spotted Cow on tap. Being "the only bar in WI you can only get to from the MN side" makes this place unique. It has a nice, typical WI bar feel to it so if that's what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed. My husband described it as "in the middle of nowhere," which I think adds to the experience :D This place is bigger than it looks when you first walk in, as there's a dining room separate from the bar area. Highly recommended! ”
